Hi, I’m Julian — a guitarist and professional musician. I’ve toured and performed with bands across Europe and the United States, and led my own projects. Now I love sharing that experience with my students.

Whether you’re a child picking up the guitar for the first time, a teenager sharpening your skills, or an adult returning to music, I’ll help you progress at your own pace and discover your unique sound.

Lesson Length & Structure

  • 30 minutes – perfect for younger children (under 10), keeping sessions focused and fun

  • 60 minutes – standard for teens and adults, or children ready for longer sessions

  • In your home – I can travel within London for a small travel charge

  • Online – lessons via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime for added flexibility

  • 30 minutes £30 at my studio.

  • 60 minutes £45 at my studio.

  • An extra 5 to £10 to travel to your home in London.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need my own guitar?

Yes — you’ll need your own guitar for practice at home. I’m happy to recommend the right size and model if you’re just starting out.

What ages do you teach?

I teach children from age 6 upwards, as well as teens and adults.

How often should I take lessons?

Weekly lessons are best for steady progress, though fortnightly lessons are also possible.

Can siblings share a lesson?

Yes — siblings can share a 60-minute session, each having 30 minutes of focused time.

Do you teach beginners?

Absolutely. Many of my students start with no prior experience.

Do you help with music grades/exams?

Yes, I can prepare you for Rockschool, Trinity, ABRSM, and other exam boards.

What if I need to cancel?

Please give at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Lessons cancelled with less notice may still be charged.
